【摘要】:Inmostapplications,africtiontapemusthaveadequateadhesiontoremaininplaceandfunctionproperly.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthemethodsandproceduresfortestingfrictiontapes.Suchtapesconsistofawovenfabricsheetingthathasbeenimpregnatedwithanadhesiveinsulatingcompoundandcutintorollsofnarrowwidth.Thesetapesarecommonlyusedforprotectingandbindinginplace,insulationappliedtojointsofelectricalwiresandcables,andforothermechanicalpurposes.Note1-ThematerialspecificationsformerlyincludedinthesetestmethodsarenowcontainedinSpecificationD4514.1.2Thetestmethodsincludedinthisstandardareasfollows:1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsarethestandard.TheSIunitsinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThereisnoequivalentIECstandard.
