【摘要】:Incontrasttofiletransfersinawholesalebankingenvironmentcharacterisedbyexchangesoflargevolume,betweenmainframes,inarelativelyhigh-securityenvironment("bulkfiletransfers");thoseinaretailbankingenvironmentarecharacterisedbylowvolumesandalowerdegreeofreliabilityofenvironmentinwhichdownloadeddevicesareoperated.Suchdevicesmaybe,butnotlimitedto,anelectronicpointofsaleterminal(EPOS),anautomatedvendingmachine(AVM),anautomatedtellermachine(ATM),oramerchantserverincommunicationwithpaymentgateways.Itisassumedthatapre-establishedrelationshipexistsbetweentheentitiesinvolvedinthesecurefiletransfer,especiallytocoverthelegalandcommercialaspectsrelatedtothefiletransferliabilities.ThisInternationalStandardappliestothedifferentkindsoffiletransferusedinretailbankingenvironment,butdoesnotcovertransactionmessagesidentifiedinISO8583.Thetransfermayrequiretimeliness,andrequiresatleastoneofthefollowingsecurityservices:—messageoriginauthentication;—receiverauthentication;—integrity;—confidentiality;—nonrepudiationoforigin;—nonrepudiationofdelivery;—auditability.Itisassumedthatalldataforwardedbytheoriginatorshallhavebeenconfirmedaslegitimateandcorrectpriortothetransfer.Thedifferenttypesoffilestobetransferredcouldcontain:—software;—theretailtransactionswhichhavebeenperformedandregistered,(uploading);—technicaldatarelatedtoanacquirer(accessparameters...),(downloading);—applicationdatarelatedtoanacquirer(BINlist,hotlist,...),(downloading).Characteristicsofsuchfiletransfersarethefollowing:a)thetypeofdatatobetransferredcanbe—non-secretdata(collectionofretailtransactions,technicaldataandapplicationdata);or—secretdata.b)thenumberofentitiestoreceivethedatacanbe:—one;—morethanone(broadcastwitheventhousandsofreceivers).c)thecommunicationchannelscanconsistofoneorbothofthefollowingexamples:—telecommunication:publicnetwork,privatenetwork;d)thenatureofthetransfercanbe:—direct-connect,real-timetransfer(alsoknownascircuitswitching);or—store-and-forwardtransfer(alsoknownasmessageswitching).NOTEThisInternationalStandardconsidersthesecurityserviceduringthetransfer.RequirementstoensurethattransferredfileshavenotbeenalteredaftertransferachievementareoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard.PermissibleformsofSecureFileTransferTransferofSecuredFilesThetransferfunctiondoesnotprovideanysecurityservicesbutincludesonlycommunicationservices.Inthiscasethefileshallbesecuredpriortothetransfer.Securityismanagedbytheoriginatorandthereceiverthemselves.Theyneednottrustthelowerlevels.Thereisnosecurityaddedbythecommunicationlevel(senderandreceiver).SFT=SecureFileTransferSecuredtransferoffilesInthiscase,thesecurityistakenintoaccountonlyfromthesendertothereceiverandtheoriginatorfullytruststhesender.Oneexampleiswheretheoriginatoristhesenderandthesecurityisdelegatedtothetransferlevel.Thisisnotendtoendsecurityasthereisnosecurityaddedbytheoriginator.Inthiscase,thetransferfunctionfullyincludesthesecurityservices.Thefileneednotbesecuredpriortothesecuredtransfertakingplace.SecuredtransferofsecuredfilesThesecurityfunctionscanbesplitupbetweenthesecurityfunctionandthetransferfunction.Oneexampleiswheretheoriginatorcreatesafile,signsitwiththeprivatesignaturekey,andenciphersthefilewithakeyknownonlybytheenduser(thereceiver).Theconcerninthisexampleistopreventanyonewithinthesendersorganisationfromseeingthecontentoftheoriginatorsfile.
