【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfortheevaluationoftheultimateanaerobicbiodegradabililyofplasticsbasedonorganiccompoundsunderhigh-solidsanaerobic-digestionconditionsbymeasurementofevolvedbiogasandthedegreeofdisintegrationattheendofthetest.Thismethodisdesignedlosimulatetypicalanaerobicdigestionconditionsfortheorganicfractionofmixedmunicipalsolidwaste.Thetestmaterialisexposedinalaboratorytesttoamethanogenicinoculumderivedfromanaerobicdigestersoperatingonlyonpretreatedhouseholdwaste.Theanaerobicdecompositiontakesplaceunderhigh-solids(morethan20%totalsolids)andstaticnon-mixedconditions.Thetestmethodisdesignedtoyieldthepercentageofcarboninthetestmaterialanditsrateofconversiontoevolvedcarbondioxideandmethane(biogas).TheconditionsdescribedinthisInternationalStandardmaynotalwayscorrespondtotheoptimumconditionsforthemaximumdegreeofbiodegradationtooccur.
