【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardcanbeusedwithbenefitsonallkindsofplatform.ThisInternationalStandard'smostimmediateinterestisfordeployingportableapplicationsonsmallfootprintdevices.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesdramaticsavingsofdynamicmemoryandexecutiontimewithoutsacrificinganyoftheflexibilityusuallyattachedtotheuseofnon-pre-linkedportablecode.ThisInternationalStandardisespeciallyimportanttoprovideacompletesolutiontoexecuteportableprogramsofwhichcodesizeisbiggerthantheavailabledynamicmemory.ThisInternationalStandardisalsoveryimportantwhenfastreactivityofprogramsisimportant.Byavoidingtheextra-processingrelatedtoloadingintodynamicmemoryandformattingclassesatruntime,thisInternationalStandardprovidesacompleteanswertotheproblemofclass-loadingslow-down.Thesebenefitsareparticularlyinterestingforsmalldevicessupportingfinancialapplications.Suchapplicationsareoftencomplexandrelyingoncodeofsignificantsize,whilethepressureofthemarketoftenimposestothesedevicestobeofalowpriceand,consequently,tobeverysmallfootprintplatforms.Inaddition,tonotimposeunacceptabledelaystocustomers,itisimportanttheseapplicationsdonotwastetimeinloadingclassesintodynamicmemorywhentheyarelaunchedbut,onthecontrary,tobeimmediatelyactivelyprocessingthetransactionwithnodelay.Whenusingsmartcards,therearealsosomeloosereal-timeconstraintsthatarebetterhandledifitcanbegrantedthatnotemporaryfreezingofprocessingcanoccurduetoclassloading.ThisInternationalStandardcanalsobeofgreatbenefitfordevicesdealingwithreal-timeapplications.Inthiscase,avoidingthedelaysduetoclassloadingcanplayanimportantroletosatisfyreal-timeconstraints.
