【摘要】:Theserecommendedpracticesareconcernedprimarilywiththepreventionofwaterdamagetosteamturbinesusedforfossilfuelfiredelectricpowergeneration.Thepracticescoverdesign,operation,inspection,testing,andmaintenanceofthoseaspectsofthefollowingpowerplantsystemsandequipmentconcernedwiththepreventionoftheinductionofwaterintosteamturbinesandassociatedsystemsandequipment:(a)mainsteamsystem,piping,anddrains;(b)reheatsteamsystems,piping,anddrains;(c)reheatattemperatingsystem;(d)turbineextractionsystems,piping,anddrains;(e)feedwaterheaters,piping,anddrains;(f)turbinedrainsystem;(g)turbinesteamsealsystem,piping,anddrains;(h)mainsteamattemperatorsystems;(i)start-upsystems;(j)condensorsteamandwaterdumps;Anyconnectiontotheturbineisapotentialsourceofwatereitherbyinductionfromexternalequipmentorbyaccumulationofcondensedsteam.Thesourcestreatedspecificallyarethosethathavebeenfoundtobemostfrequentlyinvolved.
